WTF Is Nyan Heroes?

Let’s face it, 90% of blockchain games in development right now aren’t going to make it. They’ll either never launch or won't stand the test of time. Most will probably release a game that’s milles from what was advertised. Others will put a game out, have an ok  2 to 3 months, and crash after that.

People like shooters. They’ve been popular since the dawn of time. More specifically, battle royales have been the main attraction for the past 3 years. People also like rich gameplay. No one is a fan of monotonous games for longer than a week. Like, it's okay to jump and move around obstacles in the same 6 maps for a bit but c'mon, you can do better. And most importantly, people like cats. Cats are the ultimate MVP. You can put a cat in your old Audi 80, take a picture of it and you’ll see people lining up to buy this stone-age vehicle (the cat is not included btw, no one sells their cat).

One game that ticks all boxes is Nyan Heroes. Nyan Heroes presents itself as an immersive NFT based shooter of futuristic revolutions, cats in robots, evil corporations, and more. Plus they donate regularly to charities that save real-world cats (the real heroes).

What Makes Nyan Heroes Unique?

By the way, if you like lore and cats, you’ll definitely like Nyan Heroes. The story of Nekovia (once the greatest civilization in the metaverse) is fantastic and you can find similarities with the real world we live in.

Long story short, Nekovia was destroyed by power-hungry corporations and all that is left is 11,111 Genesis Nyans. Our last hope to defeat the giants and save Nekovia. And of course, our heroes are cats (who better to save the world).Currently being build on Solana, with an amazing team, we are very excited to go deeper with NH!

Genesis Nyans 

These cute and colorful NFT cats are the last of their kind, and therefore are one of a kind. Genesis Nyans are the first Nyan Heroes NFTs. Because of their status and uniqueness, holders will have some amazing advantages. Utilities will be in the form of:

• A limited-edition Nyan Heroes PFP
• Access to exclusive airdrops and early access to land presale
• Access to beta testing
• Genesis Nyans will serve as a mint pass for Genesis Guardian NFTs
• Create your own origin story and be part of the game lore forever 

Genesis Nyans have rarities ranging from common to legendary. Genesis Guardians will have the same rarities. And since Genesis Nyans are mint passes for the Guardians, rarities will be directly proportional. If you own a common cat, you’ll be able to mint a common Guardian, etc., etc.

• uncommon 29%
• rare 14%
• ultra-rare 7%
• legendary 4%

Gameplay

Players will have the option to hop right in the game and start playing. No investments are needed. But in order to win any significant rewards, we’ll need a Guardian NFT.

Guardians will increase our $CTNP (the in-game utility token) winnings.  Winnings are also scaled with the rarity of the Guardian.

Having multiple options of game modes to play is key for this generation of gamers. The game will be played in 3rd person shooter and the game modes available are:

1. PVE Adventure

This is the perfect place to start your adventure. You can understand the game mechanics and sharpen your skills with an easier level of opposition at the beginning stages. You and your Nyan Hero will partake in a series of battles against common enemies. All this with one goal in mind - to make your way back to Nekovia. 

On every glorious victory you achieve, you’ll earn rewards. These rewards can be anything between cores, used to mint new characters and weapons, or parts to upgrade them. $CTNP and $NYN (the governance token), achievements, and EXP points are also in the pool of rewards.

2. PVP Battle Royale

The Battle Royale will take place in the post-cataclysmic civilization of Nekovia. We’ll have the chance to explore a rich and diverse array of beautiful environments. These include overgrown forests, barren wastelands, toxic marshlands, and mountainous terrain all surrounding the ruined central metropolis of Nekovia.  

Battle Royale is the place to show the world you are the best. You’ll be teamed up with two other players or play alone. The goal is to overcome 60 other players and stand victorious as the only survivor/s (depending on if you are in a team or not). 

In order to do that, you’ll need to roam around the map, find some supply crates and scavenge them. Equip the items you find and use them to overcome your opponents. Special abilities are also available to each character. You can level up your abilities and weapons by finding Mana Crystals out in the wild.

3. Guild Mode

By joining or creating a guild we’ll unlock a new set of missions. The harder the mission we send our Nyan and its Guardian to, the greater the rewards will be. 

Forming small groups to complete quests in the metaverse or bringing a whole raid to defeat a legendary Giant will also be an option for players. 

4. RPG Mode

RPG mode is still fairly unknown. The team has only given us little clues to spark our imagination. They seem really excited when they talk about it so my hopes are really high for that one. 

What Is The Utility Of Nyan Heroes?

Nyan Heroes will feature a dual token system. One being the in-game utility token $CTNP, which supports the economy. The other is $NYN, the governance token. 

Earning $CTNP will happen through playing the various game modes. Its use case will be:

•  Leveling and upgrading equipment and parts
•  Crafting consumables
•  Purchasing cosmetic skins
•  Minting new NFTs, characters, and items

$NYN will have a fixed supply with a 4 year unlock schedule. As the main governance token $NYN will be used for:

• Governance (obviously)
• Staking
• A treasury filled with the transaction fees and burning fees
• Redistribution of revenue to stakeholders

A Closer Look At The Roadmap Of Nyan Heroes

We’ve all heard the phrase “talk is cheap”. Acting, not talking is what earns you respect. What’s even better is making bold claims and actually doing them. 

Roadmaps are one way to see if a team is confident and dedicated. Exactness and clarity are a must for a good roadmap. That’s what we have with Nyan Heroes. They did their bold claims and acted upon them. Not a single one is left undone.
